Professor Azat Seitkhan is currently Head of the Laboratory of Engineering Profile at Satbayev University. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from al‑Farabi Kazakh National University, followed by a PhD in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology in 2016 and postdoctoral research at Nazarbayev University. He has held academic positions including Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Acting Professor at al‑Farabi Kazakh National University, and administrative roles such as Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemical and Biological Technologies at Satbayev University. He has extensive research and industrial experience at the Institute of Combustion Problems and was appointed Professor of Chemical Engineering in 2025.
Prof. Piakong Bin Mohd Tuah is a full professor at the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), with over 25 years of expertise in environmental biotechnology, bioremediation, and tropical microbial ecology. He completed his PhD at the University of Malaya and previously served as the Director of the Biotechnology Research Institute, UMS. His pioneering research on mangrove microbial consortia for hydrocarbon degradation has significantly contributed to oil spill bioremediation strategies in Southeast Asia. Prof. Piakong has authored more than 120 scientific publications, including high-impact journals like Bioresource Technology, Marine Pollution Bulletin, and Scientific Reports. He holds three patents on bioaugmentation formulations and has supervised 30+ PhD students. His international collaborations span Japan, Australia, and the UK.
Master's supervisor, cooperative doctoral supervisor, technical director of the Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center for Refrigeration and Freezing Technology, leader of the key discipline of Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering at Tianjin University of Commerce, professional person in charge of the municipal applied professional construction project, supervisor of the Tianjin Refrigeration Society, vice president of the Tianjin Qingxin Society. I have been engaged in scientific research, teaching and application work in the field of HVAC refrigeration for more than thirty years. There are original research and applications on the coupling relationship between particles and air, especially the theory of particle plumes. He/She was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Individual in Teacher Ethics of Tianjin" by the Education and Health Work Committee of the Communist Party of China Tianjin Municipal Committee and the Education Work Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission.
